Michigan's OK2SAY Confidential Safety Tipline Information

OK2SAY is a program designed to encourage Michigan students to share and respond to anything that threatens their safety or the safety of others. With support from Attorney General Bill Schuette, the Michigan State Police, local law enforcement, schools, the health community, and many others, there are processes in place that help students submit confidential tips regarding criminal activities or harmful behavior.

Annual Education Report

Following the recent release of data from the Michigan Department of Education (MDE), we are pleased to present you with the Annual Education Report (AER) which provides key information on the 2015-16 educational progress for Thornton Creek Elementary School. The AER addresses the complex reporting information required by federal and state laws. The school’s report contains information about student assessment, accountability and teacher quality. If you have any questions about the Thornton Creek AER, please contact our school office at 248-465-2350 for
assistance. The AER is available for you to review electronically or you may review a copy in our school office.

Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences

Time is quickly approaching for our spring conferences! The format for these conferences will look a little different this year. Using The Leader in Me model, we will have a student-led celebration on Thursday, April 20th from 3:30-6:30 p.m. This is an exciting way for your child to show you what he/she has been learning in school. Your child will walk you through his/her Leadership Notebook in addition to sharing other classroom artifacts. Humanities teachers will also have activities and/or work samples that your child will explain to you.
