    • Coach Tim Dalton: Michigan Interscholastic Track Coaches Association 2022 Coach of the Year!
    • This team ran the table from wire to wire winning every meet and holding the No. 1 ranking from the pre-season through the state finals in three different polls. For the second year in a row we finished 7-0 in dual meets for back-to-back KLAA West Division championships, our first KLAA conference championship since 2016, our second straight MHSAA Regional 6-1 championship, and our team's first ever MHSAA state championship. Junior Brendan Herger led the way setting new school records for the fastest time at our home course at Cass Benton, the fastest 5-kilometer race on any course, and the lowest finish at the state meet as he took third place overall. Senior Brady Heron and sophomore Ethan Powell also finished All-State- the first time our team has had three All-State finishers in the same season.

This year's team grew to 80 boys, the largest team we've ever had. These young men have certainly left their mark continuing to cultivate a positive environment where each member of the team is welcome, has a place where they want to be and where all 80 of them have the opportunity to find their own unique role. The selflessness of this team is far greater than any trophy that they earned.  -Coach Tim Dalton

  • Football
    • Our Varsity Football team had an extremely positive and productive season. We were picked in the preseason to finish in 6th place of the KLAA West division at KLAA Media Day, and our only division loss was by three points to Brighton - who won the division. We were the smallest team (in stature) within the division, but we played way bigger than any opponent on our schedule. Our players demonstrated tremendous resilience and persistence all season long, and they were among the most determined teams Northville High School has fielded in the past 20 years. Our senior class did a tremendous job while leading the team, and our underclassmen are FIRED UP to carry on the winning culture that this group has restored. -Coach Matt Ladach

  • Girls Golf
    • The NHS Girls Golf team had a very successful season! First, the girls made a smooth transition to having two new coaches. They went onto win a number of tournaments and matches. Many golfers placed in the top 10 and had personal bests. Winning the KLAA Conference title and Regional Title were the highlight of the season. The 1st place regional finish included NHS Golfers as medalist and runner-up! We went on to play at the MHSAA State Championship, where we placed 4th! We had five All-Conference Players, one All-State and three All-State Honorable Mentions, and one Academic All-State and two Academic All-State Honorable Mentions! The Lady Stangs also volunteered in October at First Presbyterian Church of Northville and made food for the less fortunate. They came together and each took one ingredient to purchase. They all met at the Church kitchen to cook the entire meal from scratch. The girls made the following items for the meal, scalloped potatoes, ham casserole, and a fiesta corn dish.  The Lady Stangs made enough to feed 40-50 people! -Coach Kate Schultz

  • Boys Soccer
    • The boys soccer team finished 13-3-4 for the season, ended 2nd in the division and 3rd overall in the conference. We started the season 2-2, then went on a 15 game unbeaten streak, won district semis against Canton in overtime with a penalty shootout. In the end, we lost district finals to Salem which ended all the way to state semi finals. We earned 7 All-Conference players, 6 All-District players, 3 All-Region, 2 All-State honorable mentions and one 2nd Team All-State. The team also received an All-Academic Team award with 3.56 GPA. I’m very proud of this group, for the great season they had as a team, going through so many tough injuries to key members but everyone put so much effort to overcome. One of my more enjoyable teams I have had the pleasure to coach. -Coach Henry Klimes

  • Girls Swim & Dive
    • Coach Brian McNeff named Coach of the Year
    • We had an amazing season!  We were 8-1, Wayne County Champions, Division Champions, Conference Champions, and finished 2nd at the state meet.  This turned out to be our most successful season in our history.  We also had a lot of individual accomplishments with 10 all state swims/dives and a State Champion (Emily Roden in the 100 Butterfly).

Outside of our success in the pool, we also came together as a team and created a family type of community.  The girls were really close and worked hard for each other and the team.  We also were able to raise over $2,000 for the local meals on wheels at our Swim-a-thon.  I was really proud of everything this group accomplished! -Coach Brian McNeff
