Free School Meals Continue for All Northville Students in 2025–26 School Year

Northville Public Schools is excited to announce that free school meals will continue for all students for the 2025–26 school year. Last week, the Michigan Legislature approved the final State and School Aid Budget, which was signed into law by Governor Gretchen Whitmer, ensuring the continuation of the Michigan School Meals program.

Under this program, all students will continue to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day. Please note that this does not include à la carte items. Breakfast is available at all schools: elementary students eat breakfast in the classroom, while secondary students may pick up breakfast before school starts.

Northville Public Schools encourages families to complete the Education and Nutrition Benefits (EBF) form, even though meals are free. Completing this form may qualify families for additional benefits, including sports waivers, testing fee waivers, and other educational supports.

This continued investment ensures that every student has access to nutritious meals each day, supporting student health, learning, and success across the district.
