How to Order and Pay for Lunch or Breakfast

Free school meals will continue for all students for the 2025–26 school year.

Under this program, all students will continue to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day. Please note that this does not include à la carte items. If your student would like to purchase items à la carte, you must load funds to the Cafeteria Module on Mistar ParentConnection.

A complete school lunch for all students includes:

Students must select at least three of the items below to count as a full lunch, and one of the three must be a fruit or vegetable.

A main item (typically protein + grain, counts as two items)
Fruit
Vegetable
Milk

Elementary and Pre-K Students

Lunch must be pre-ordered daily through Nutrislice. Please review the step-by-step instructions for placing an order through Nutrislice.
Double-check your student’s account and details if you’ve ordered before.
Include your student number and select the correct teacher when ordering.
Deadline: All orders are due by 7:00 AM on the day of (this is a change from last year). You may order up to 30 days in advance.

Middle and High School Students

No pre-ordering is required.
Bring your student ID to speed up lunch lines.

Breakfast

Breakfast is available to all students each school day.

Elementary and Pre-K Students

Elementary and Pre-K students must pre-order breakfast through Nutrislice by 7:00 AM the day of (up to 30 days in advance). Be sure to include your student number and select the correct teacher. Elementary students eat breakfast in the classroom.

Middle and High School Students

Secondary students do not need to pre-order and can pick up breakfast in the cafeteria before school begins.

Menus & Ordering

Menus and nutrition information are available online through Nutrislice. Families of Pre-K through 5th grade students also order meals using this platform.

Adding Funds to Cafeteria Account

Students that wish to purchase a la carte items, must have funds loaded on the Cafeteria Module on MiStar ParentConnection. This is separate from placing orders on the Nutrislice portal.

Important information

Only one breakfast and one lunch is free per student per day.
Milk only is not free: If your student just wants milk, they will have to pay for that with money in their lunch account or you can send money with them.
Water is not free and must be paid for with money on account or money.
Extra entrees or full lunches will also be charged to the student’s account.
Your Nutrislice account and MiStar accounts are not linked. To view your orders, check your Nutrislice account. To view items that were actually served to or purchased by your student check your MiStar PaerntConneciton.
